Cooking with design: Tripod by Alessi

Hello my dear design lovers! Here we are at the second appointment with the column on Friday: Cooking with design. The protagonist of today is Tripod by the designers Gabriele Chiave and LPWK for Alessi .

But what is Tripod? You have already guessed , or you're still thinking ? I confess that when I saw Tripod for the first time, a gift from a dear friend who knows how much I love the design, I was puzzled . It is a jewel ? A game of intelligence?

Tripod is a trivet with adjustable elements in chrome-plated zamak . Astonished ? Incredulous ?

Remarkable is the contrast between the humble trivet and functional component of the ambitious design of innovative component . Tripod stands on the table and we can adapt its entirety furniture until you get the desired shape to hold a pot, a pan or dish. Buongiorno mie cari design lovers! Eccoci al secondo appuntamento con la rubrica del venerdi Cooking with design. Il protagonista di oggi é Tripod progettato dai designer Gabriele Chiave e da Lpwk per Alessi. 

Ma che cos'é Tripod? Avete giá indovinato o ci state ancora pensando? Confesso che quando ho visto per la prima volta Tripod, regalo di una mia cara amica che conosce quanto io ami gli oggetti di design, sono rimasta perplessa. É un gioiello? Un gioco di intelligenza? 

Tripod é un sottopentola ad elementi mobili in zama cromata. Stupefatti? Increduli? 

Notevole é il contrasto tra l'umile componente funzionale del sottopentola e l'ambizioso design della componente innovativa. Tripod si pone sulla tavola e si adattano i suoi elementi mobili fino ad ottenere la forma desiderata per sorreggere una pentola, una teglia o un piatto da portata. Tripod é cosí elegante che é un peccato riporlo in un cassetto insieme agli altri utensili da cucina, ma é fatto per essere appeso ad un gancio come potete vedere in un'immagine piú avanti. A testimoniare la valenza gioiello di Tripod é anche la sua confenzione, identica ad una scatola che potrebbe contenere una collana o un bracciale prezioso.
