Cooking with Design: Sugar House by Peleg Design

Hello Design Lovers! Since we are in the Christmas period, the column Cooking with Design dedicates today's post at this lovely snowball glass, which actually hides the sugar bowl The Sugar House designed by Ben Broyde, designer of Design Peleg, an Israeli company specializing in kitchen gadgets.
This sugar bowl contains in its interior a house attached to the bases of the glass ball. When you want sugar simply flip the ball, unscrew the base and as you use sugar, it turns out the house hidden inside.
The Sugar House obviously can be filled with white or cane sugar, but also salt or spices to a constantly changing panorama

Cooking with Design: Anacleto by Brandani


Another protagonist for Cooking with Design: Anacleto jar by Brandani. This cute kitchten jar looks like a classical glass jar with metal cover but instead it is made completely in ceramic. Anacleto takes its name from the little owl on it and of course the most famous owl is Anacleto, the friend of the wizard Merlin. 
This jar is available in several size and different pastel colours and has a special decal print on the top so you can personalise it with a jalk writing the name of the ingredient inside: coffee, flour, salt, sugar for nomore mistakes in the kitchen!

Un altro protagonista per la rubrica Cooking with Design: Anacleto di Brandani. Questo simpatico barattolo possiede la stessa forma del classico vasetto in vetro per le conserve o marmellate, ma invece è fatto completamente in ceramica.

Cooking with Design: Gianni by Alessi

Hello design lovers! Finally it's Friday! The weekend is near and also the column Cooking with Design! The protagonists of today are the creations of Italian designer Mattia Di Rosa, Gianni a little man holding on tight, an original and fun interpretation of the classic kitchen jar, where the design is inside the jar.
The line of Mattia Di Rosa consists of a series of airtight container in different sizes ranging from small one to the one for spaghetti. The jars are made of glass and apparently normal, but if you raise their cover we find a nice man with a very worry expression, Gianni a little man holding on tight.
Our Gianni, with the lid in which he tries to keep it tight, is thermoplastic resin available in different colors: blue, mint green, blue, black, pink, yellow, white and yellow sweet.

And which one do you like best?

Cooking with Design: Karoto by Monkey Business

Everybody knows how is boring cleaning and peeling vegetables, Monkey Business has invented Karoto, sharpener & peeler with pencil sharpener shape. Amazing! 
Karito peels and curls ribbons of carrots, zucchini, cucumbers and other similar shaped vegetables to decorate and add flair to your salads and dishes.
Karoto is also very nice to show as decorating object on a kitchen shelf, and is available in 4 colours: black, yellow, red and green.
Much more fun in the kitchen!


Tutti sappiamo quanto è noioso pelare le verdure, Monkey Business ha inventato Karoto, un pelaverdure a forma di temperamatite. Geniale similitudine!

Cooking with Design: Snowball Shakers by Camago

Hi dear design lovers! Today the column Cooking with Design introduces another adorable
invention of Gama-Go: Snowball Shakers, salt and pepper shakers containing respectively inside a polar bear and a brown bear.
Polar Bear loves to be submerged by salt because it reminds him the snow while brown bear loves to camouflage with the pepper.
These two animals decore and bring fun on your table and help to put some spice not only on food but during all the lunchtime.

Hello design lovers! The protagonist of the column Cooking with Design today is Manatea by Fred & Friends a tea and herbal teas infuser from the original form of manatee.
Don't you think he has a so cute muzzle, does he?
This cute gray manatee loves to have warm bath in cups and mugs and keeps us company during cold evenings on the couch watching television.
Manatea may contains inside his bumb flowers, leaves and dried fruit of teas and herbal teas in order to leave slowly the aroma.

Cooking with Design: Gioconda di Marioluca Giusti

Hello design lovers! The protagonist of the column Cooking with Design of this Friday is Gioconda, the tray of the designer Marioluca Giusti that blends classical forms, contemporary materials and fluo colors.
The collection of Marioluca Giusti contains many articles for the house with classic shapes and the appearance of Crystal and porcelain but revisited with contemporary materials such as synthetic crystal and melamine.
This original style, between fusion and pop, characterized all elements created by Marioluca Giusti including Gioconda, the protagonist of this post.
Gioconda is a practical and stylish acrylic tray, with baroque line, available in red, blue, green, white and transparent.

Cooking with Design: Farfalloni by Monkey Business

 
Like every Friday returns the column Cooking with Design and the protagonist of today are Farfalloni the silicone potholders by Monkey Business with the shape of the homonymous Italian pasta.
Farfalloni are two fun yellow heat-resistant pot holders to handle pans with  hot handles.
Useful idea with a special design that combines originality and practicality and leading in our kitchen a touch of beauty and irony.
I recommend not confuse them with real farfalloni pasta otherwise you could cook them in the pot!

Cooking with Design: Glass Pot by Massimo Castagna

 
Hello design lovers! The protagonist of the column Cooking with Design of this Friday is the original Glass Pot and it was given by a friend of mine.
Glass Pot is made by the Italian designer Massimo Castagna, this elegant transparent  pot allows you to see dance in the water pasta and vegetables while cooking from a unique perspective.
  Glass Pot is made of tempered borosilicate glass to make it resistant to high temperatures. This original design object is manufactured in Italy and every day are created only 10 pieces, to emphasize the care and the exclusivity of the product. Also important is the distribution channel of Glass Pot, in fact, this pot is sold only in the shop or in the webstore of the MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Glass Pot with even a simple object like a pot can become a work of unique design and reside in one of the most important galleries in the world.

Cooking with Design: Rudolph di Pusher


Hello design lovers! Also the Friday column Cooking with Design in the month of December shows you items related to Christmas and  as first star introduces you Rudolph, the original nutcracker  with a reindeer shape by Pusher.
Rudolph is the reindeer of Santa Claus with a red and bright nose indicating the path to the other reindeers through mists and storms during the night of Christmas Eve.
For Pusher, Rudolph has become a nice nutcracker in metal available in different colors or just chrome. Just place the nut in the space provided, lower tail of Rudolph and the nut breaks.
This nutcracker looks like a toy of the past and will be able to amuse and amaze adults and children during the lunches and dinners of Christmas.
 
Buongiorno design lovers! Anche la rubrica del venerdì Cooking with Design nel mese di Dicembre diventa natalizia e vi propone come protagonista di oggi Rudolph, l'originale schiaccianoci a forma di renna di Pusher.

Rudolph è la renna di Babbo Natale con il naso rosso e luminoso che indica il percorso alle altre renne attraverso nebbie e tempeste durante la notte della vigilia di Natale.
Per Pusher, Rudolph é diventato un simpatico schiaccianoci in metallo disponibile in diversi colori o semplicemente cromato. Basta posizionare la noce nello spazio apposito, abbassare la coda di Rudolph e la noce si rompe.
Questo schiaccianoci dall'aspetto di un giocattolo d'altri tempi sará in grado di divertire e stupire grandi e bambini durante i pranzi e le cene delle feste di Natale.

Cooking with design: Escargot by Pylones

 
Hello my dear design lovers! Escargot from Pylones is the star of this week's Cooking with design. Escargot is a nice snail shaped funnel made in soft silicone available in different colors. The shell of the snail acts as a funnel and it can be compressed to take up less space when it retires.
A useful and fun tool to help you to pour any liquid as if it is a game.

Cooking with design: Maniche chien and chat by Pylones

Hello my dear design lovers! As every Friday heading back to Cooking with the design and the protagonists of today are the funny pot holders and Maniche Chien and Maniche Chat by Pylones.
Pylones is a French company based in Paris, who since 1985 creates original and fun design objects. These silicone pot holders can be found in two models, dog and cat and four bright colors: blue, green, red and magenta. Maniche Chien and Maniche Chat
 will help you to have fun cooking and between a baking tin and the other is impossible not to use them as if they were puppet improvising a theater.
