Un Nido in giardino

 

Nido is the protagonist of today for the series of posts dedicated to outdoor design. Designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto for Paola Lenti, Nido is a chair with a light and elegant design. Its unusual name, nest, fully reflects its forms, characterized by soft and enveloping curves that combine in perfect harmony handmade braided rope and a steel structure.
Available in different colors and can be combined with tone on tone or contrasting cushions for a glamorous and fun effect.

Nido è il protagonista di oggi per la serie di post dedicati al design outdoor. Disegnata da Patricia Urquiola e Eliana Gerotto per Paola Lenti, Nido é una poltrona dal design leggero ed elegante. 

Una scimmia come cameriere

Today Mad about Design presents the latest creation of one of the most important Spanish designers, Monkey Side Table by Jaime Hayon for Barcelona Design.
Presented this year at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Monkey Side Table is a small table with an unusual form of monkey holding a tray and looking us a bit puzzled and a bit ironic.
  In concrete gray, Monkey Side Table can be considered a sculpture in its own right. Monkey Side Table goes to enrich the collection Gardenia, composed of a series of elements suitable for both outdoor and indoor.

Oggi Mad about Design vi presenta l'ultima creazione di uno dei più importanti designer spagnoli, Monkey Side Table di Jaime Hayon per Barcelona Design. 

Presentato quest'anno durante il Salone del Mobile di Milano, Monkey Side Table è un tavolino dall'inconsueta forma di scimmia che regge un vassoio e ci guarda un po' perplessa e un po' ironica. 

Voido, la sedia a dondolo contemporanea

Hello design lovers! Mad about Design continues the line dedicated to outdoor and today shows you Voido, the rocking chair created by designer Ron Arad for Magis, made of opaque polyethylene, suitable for both outdoor and indoor.

Voido undermines the idea of boring rocker of our grandmothers thanks to modern materials with which it is built and the style of its fluid and supple lines. Thus it was born this complex and fascinating seat. Voido is available in three colors: orange, white and gray.

What's more relaxing than passing all the summer afternoon on a rocking chair ?

For undescribable relaxing moments, Swing is the created by Edward Van Vliet for Paola Lenti.

Swing has a fine structure in ash made by thin parallel elements which create minimal, delicete and sinuous lines. 

Suitable for suspension beam or ceiling, Swing is personalizable with cushions available in different colours.

What about a really zen break?

Cosa c'è di più rilassante che trascorrere il pomeriggio estivo su un dondolo? 

Per momenti di relax indescribili, Swing è il dondolo per esterni creato da Edward Van Vliet per Paola Lenti.

Chewing-gum or seat?

Hello design lovers! Here you can feel spring in the air, the days become longer and we would like to remain more outdoor.
Why not think then of furnishing our terrace or garden with a design element?
The first piece of furniture of the outdoor season for Mad about Design is Gumball, a seat of the designer Alberto Brogliato for Plust Collection.
Gumball is a seat ergonomically shaped and enveloping, reminiscent of a chewing-gum.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor both private and public, Gumball is a very original element that will be the protagonist of many moments of leisure.
Available in three variants: white or fuchsia lacquered rigid material, white or fuchsia soft resin or only in white including interior lighting.
  The variant with lighting can create a cozy and elegant atmosphere thanks to its soft light.

A seat with tropical bird colors

Hello design lovers! The summer is coming, the days get longer and encourage us to spend more time in our garden or on our terrace. The outdoor spaces are of great interest for many designers and in the next posts I will show you different furnishings from the original design.
As first character I chose Fedro, a seat with unusual shape, designed by Milanese designer Lorenza Bozzoli.
The ergonomic structure rests on the ground on two thin skates that allow an oscillating movement and is equipped with a cushion for the head for relaxing moments. The lining is in dedon fiber and the different colors are characterized by bright and cheerful tonalities and their names, Flamingo, Colibri and Quetzal, reminiscent of tropical birds. Fedro
is able to furnish your outdoor space in an unconventional and funny way and will never go unnoticed.

Buongiorno design lovers! La bella stagione sta per arrivare, le giornate si allungano e ci invogliano a trascorrere maggior tempo nel nostro giardino o sul nostro terrazzo. Gli spazi outdoor sono oggetto di grande interesse per molti designer e nei prossimi post vi mostrerò diversi complementi d'arredo dal design originale.
Come primo protagonista ho scelto Fedro, una seduta dalla linea insolita, progettata dalla designer milanese Lorenza Bozzoli.
